In 1910, the residence was built in French bahareque with Victorian-style influences, designed by Architect Luis Llach Llagostera, who was of Catalan origin (Spain). The home is representative of the architecture constructed by the upper class on Paseo Colón during the first half of the 20th century. Today, it is The Victorian San Jose Boutique Hotel.
